These are owned by Bauer magazine, who have 200 million consumers in 14 countries. They sell multiple magazine brands that apply to a mass audience. The simply you magazine is a mass audience magazine for preferred audience of older women. This is due to the model being an older woman herself, the baking and they ways to make them look younger. this is a weekly magazine but they offer a monthly magazine with a higher price. Younger women may still read this  magazine but not as much as the older women that it's aimed at. The story content might get other people to pick up the magazine. The oppositional audience is men as it doesn't appeal to them, as some traditional people may not do things that women typically do. These magazine often have a web link that offers a cross conversions. There are recipes that are in the magazine that may offer a famous chef recipes. There is also a fashion section in the magazine that my have someone famous modelling the clothes. There are more cross conversions like the health workers, and dieting. There is colloquial language making it less formal tilting more towards the gossip side. The story content may get other people to pick up the magazine, not just women. For example the story of someone being held hostage for 3 nights, this is serious but then has a comical twist with it mentioning that it was after a chicken dinner. so this will attract someone that has a sense of humour that would want to read the story. The average circulation  35574 (2018). The win cash prizes are aimed at older women because of gambling, and encouraging more people to buy it as they have a chance of winning.

Representation and difference by Neale is shown by having having recipes but changing them each time. The same style of questions but different each time. Same types of shocking stories, gossip, weight loss and slang. There are always the same standard primary colours, with the florescent pink. People also expect there to be cash prizes.
